These unusual penguins are sadly endangered but are so cute, they had to be in our animal art gallery. They are endemic to only the Galápagos Islands, are are unique as the only species living north of the Equator. Mostly found on Fernandina and Isabela Islands, these penguins are the second smallest species at 20 inches tall and 5.5lbs in weight. It is estimated there are only about 2,000 remaining.
